Principles of the Christian Peace Organisation

Instilling the love of Jesus

To instil the love of Jesus Christ in the hearts of its members, which love is unhypocritical towards every fellow human being (friend and enemy), as commanded in His Holy Gospel:

“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.”  [RSV, Matthew 5:44-45].

This love is given to every person after an individual struggle for inner purification (purification of the spirit) and the help of God through:

a. The sacraments of the Church (i.e., baptism, marriage, etc).

b. Unceasing prayer as much as possible, the continuous study of the Holy Scriptures and the effort to apply them.

c. Two struggle systems as auxiliary means in this endeavour, namely the "dodecalogia" (a strategic framework to implement the truths of the gospel for the swift and effective establishment of God’s kingdom inside and among us, also known as the ‘12 Precepts’), and the cultivation of the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Faith in the idea of Incorruptible Life

To inspire in its members faith in the idea of incorruptible life based on the Holy Bible, taking numerous indicative points from it including:

a. “Truly, truly, I say to you, if any one keeps My word, he will never see death” [RSV, John 8:51]

b. “…He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?” [NKJV, John 11:25-26]

c. “For we who are in this tent groan, being burdened, not because we want to be unclothed, but further clothed, that mortality may be swallowed up by life.” [NKJV, 2Corinthians 5:4]

d. “For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written: “Death is swallowed up in victory.”

“O Death, where is your sting?

O Hades, where is your victory?”” [NKJV, 1Corinthians 15:53-55]

e.  “ Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for God took him.” [RSV, Genesis 5:24].

f.  “And as they still went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them. And Eli′jah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” [RSV, 2Kings 2:11]

g. “[B]ecause God did not make death, and He does not delight in the death of the living.  For He created all things that they might exist, and the generative forces[ of the world are wholesome, and there is no destructive poison in them” [RSV, Wisdom of Solomon 1:13-14].  (NOTE: This scripture is found in the Orthodox Bible and the Catholic translation of the Bible).

Union of Christians

Union of Christians

To proclaim the union of Christians of all doctrines and confessions, under the banner of the love of Jesus Christ and to make the relevant struggle by its members to achieve this union, so that His words may be fulfilled:

a. “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” [RSV, John 13:35].

b. “And I am no longer in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep in your name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, just as we are one.” [NKJV, John 17:11]

c. “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.” [NKJV, John 17: 20-21].
